The symmetrical design of the 1000 series provides added flexibility. The pump head can be rotated in 90 degrees increments, which creates the ability to change port alignment from horizontal to vertical or reversing suction and discharge ports. It can also be removed from the system without having to unthread any pipework and as such the 1000 Series a very versatile pump.
