Multi screw pump

A multi screw pump is a positive displacement pump using two or more metal screws in order to push the liquid through.

Our NOTOS multi screw pump can achieve up to 1500m3hr flowrate and differential pressure up to 80bar. NOTOS is a compact pump with almost no pulsations, very low NPSHr and excellent suction characteristic and self priming.

This multicrew pump has very low vibrations and operates at low sound levels. Notos multi screw pump is available in three ranges: 2NS two screw pump, 3NS three screw pump and 4NS geared twin screw pump.

Two and three screw pump is applicable for lubricating products as there is metal to metal contact between screws. Geared twin screw pump can also pump non lubricating products because there is no metal to metal contact and screws are synchronized by gears. 4NS twin screw pump is also used for pumping multiphase gas-liquid in oil and gas industry pumping offshore and onshore up to 99% GVF (gas volume fraction) or even 100% gas when lubricant recirculation is provided.

Pumps are available in multiple material options fitting specific application. All NOTOS pumps have a so called High Efficiency Unique Design (HEUD), which is maximizing pumps performance and efficiency.

This design is characterized by minimal tolerances (state of art technology), optimized spindle geometry and optimized pump chamber geometry. For oil and gas applications our multi screw pumps can be offered according API 676 standard. The lifetime of the multi screw pump is long and it has usually very low lifecycle cost.
