Hydraulic seal

This seal for hydraulic cylinder is made up of two components which elimitate the need for equipment disassembly and shimming. The seal for hydraulic cylinder from 11K Rod Seals series, by Chesterton, also provides secondary sealing and works as an anti-extrusion ring.

It is a two-piece slip stacket set which employs a negative rake lip profile. Thanks to the technology of this high quality rod seal, the operating performance is optimized and the installation into the stuffing box cavity.

The wide choice of different sizes allow many possibilities while respecting international standards. This rod seal is certified to be used in a wide temperature range. Its function is to act as a pressure barrier, to prevent fluid bypass along the dynamic surface and the static surface under various operations.

Invented by Chesterton, this polymer seal regulates perfectly the fluid film during extension of the cylinder rod.
