Then this user friendly and easy to install this high temperature packing is the choice for your application. With its white, non-staining like PTFE it is kind to shafts and is reliable in the most demanding applications. It is resistant to heat and will not glaze like PTFE packings, even at high shaft speeds.

Since it is more rugged then regular PTFE packings it is far less susceptible to adverse treatment at installation or in use. In a test comparing this thermoset fiber packing against a pure PTFE fibre packing, the results showed lower leakage, higher temperature limit and stable power consumption for this thermoset fiber packing.

If you decide to pick this high temperature packing you will lower your maintenance costs and simplify your inventory.

This high temperature packing has a temperature limit of 290°C and can run at a shaft speed of 2000fpm (10 m/sec). Its chemical resistance is between pH 1 - 13 and can be used in applications like agitators, mixers, stock pumps, service water, white water and intensifiers.
