The pinch valve is a cost-effective, robust solution for controlling the flow of liquids, gases, powders, and slurries. It is simple to install, requires minimal maintenance, and ensures a totally leak-proof seal when closed. Unlike traditional valves, pinch valves have no mechanical parts in contact with the fluid, making them ideal for abrasive, corrosive, or viscous media.
Milton Roy offers a complete range of full-bore pinch valves designed for demanding industrial environments.
Our valves are available in cast iron, aluminum, and PVC versions, with sleeves reinforced for durability under extreme conditions.
How sleeve valves work?
The automatic elastic deformation valve consists of a valve body and a cylindrical sleeve covered with natural or synthetic rubber. It is normally open.
The valve is closed by applying pressure between the body and the sleeve using a fluid, usually compressed air (which can be replaced by pressurized water). Under the action of this fluid, the sleeve collapses in a preferred direction, achieved by a judicious arrangement of the fabric, thus allowing complete closure.
