Product description

This is a very efficient heavy duty slurry pump from Weir Minerals. Weir minerals slurry pump, also called Warman® slurry pump has been a market leading centrifugal slurry pump since 1938, when Founder Charles Warman designed it as the first pump dedicated to slurry transport.

Everything in this heavy duty slurry pump is designed to cope with heavy duty slurries and with total operating costs in focus. The special feature of the pump is the use of exchangeable wearable liners in various steel alloys or polymers. Changing of liners in the wet end of the pump is more economical than changing the whole pump and it minimizes the total cost of ownership for operators.

The materials are carefully selected by us based on the specific nature of the slurry and particles. We can choose from various high chrome alloys with extreme hardness and different kinds of corrosive resistant alloys like duplex steels as well as soft natural rubber, Linatex rubber, hypalon, viton or epdm polymers.

All the steel parts are produced in Weir minerals own foundry in England. We have extensive experience with slurry pumping and can design complete slurry pumping systems that include sedimentation calculations and selection of optimal pipeline dimensions.

Warman pumps are mostly used in mineral mining and processing applications, but the reliability and extreme wear resistance makes them popular across all industries for pumping of abrasive and corrosive slurries. Warman pumps with Linatex premium rubber are popular in wastewater treatment plants for pumping of sand slurry.

This heavy duty slurry pump is also used for pumping of acidic slurries and chemical leachates with particles. Pumping of drilling mud and drill cuttings in oil and gas production is also a job for the Warman slurry pump
