Food grade grease

Chesterton 630 SXCF (Extreme Pressure, Corrosion Resistant Grease) is a synthetic grease for use in various applications within the food processing industry.

What is special about this grease is that you not only get a Food Grade Grease, but also a grease capable of handling large temperature variations and resist corrosion.

Typical applications include all types of anti-friction bearings, roller bearings, ball bearings, grease lubricated chains, gears and valves. 630 SXCF gives up to 10 times longer protection against rust than conventional food greases, when measured by ASTM standard test methods.

This is a synthetic grease that functions optimally in temperatures between -40°C and 240°C. In addition, the 630 grease has an impressive dropping point of up to 318°C (temperature where the grease takes liquid form) and as such it is considered a high temperature grease.

When used in high temperature applications, many greases will dry out and start to carbonize. This is not the case with 630 SXCF as this is a high temperature grease that is made from very sophisticated additives and is “engineered” to give the absolute best performance. 630 SXCF Food Grade Grease contains no heavy metals or animal fats/oils that can support biological growth.
