The hydraulic cylinder cushioned from S-161 series is available in 7 different standard dimensions, but it is also possible to have specific dimensions that fits with your needs.
Cylinder cushioning means that the velocity of the piston is reduced as it approches the end cap. This technology lowers the stresses on cylinder components, and reduces vibrations transmitted to the machine structure.
The goal to reach with a hydraulic cylinder cushioned is to dissipate all kinetic energy to decelerate the piston to zéro velocity when it reaches the end of its travel.
This hydraulic cylinder cushioned is designed to achieve maximum bearing, while being available with custom adapted seal concepts. Position sensors and SAE flanges connections (according to ISO/DIS 6162.2) are also available in option.
