KANFA Blue Eagle FPSO, Gulf of Mexico - Blackmer System One pump

KANFA conducted and delivered a topsite installation for the Blue Eagle FPSO which had its first successful operation in the start of 2022. Fuglesangs took part in this process by design, assembly and testing of a Blackmer System One Pumpe in our modern facility at Alnabru, Oslo.

In collaboration with KANFA, we agreed to use a Blackmer System One Pump for medium hot sand slurries. This was an open impeller pump to manage particles efficiently. We also used Superduplex material according to API, ASME / ANSI standard, which was a crucial factor for this installation. Furthermore, we decided to use a double mechanical seal with API53 sealing system and air cooler from FLUITEN.
