Product description

A progressing cavity pump is a type of positive displacement pump also being known as progressive cavity pump, eccentric screw pump, mono type pump or even as positive displacement sludge pump. All these designations lead to a specific pump containing of a metal eccentric screw also referred to as helical rotor, which is rotating inside a rubber stator and pushing forward medium inside progressing cavities.

The progressing cavity pump is used mainly for pumping of sludges, slurries and viscous or adhesive liquids in almost all industries. Pumps conveys substances with or without solids and various consistencies. This progressing cavity pump provide a continuous, stable and low pulsation pumping of almost any substance. Due to the stability of flow and accuracy, pumps are often used in dosing applications, especially as polymer dosing pump in wastewater treatment applications.

Nemo progressing cavity pump can reach up to 500m3hr flow and 48bar differential pressure. We provide the proggressive cavity pump in four different geometries, various rotor/stator materials and other parts combinations as well as different number of stages in order to fit the specific pump application.

The pumps can be delivered in a compact block design where motor is connected directly to pump lantern (BY design) or with bearing housing and drive shaft (SY design). Our NEMO progressive cavity pump is available in FSIP (full service in place) design allowing to change the pumps rotor, stator, mechanical seal and drive chain without disconnecting the pump from its pipe flanges.

An important asset of our pumps is that pump manufacturer NETZSCH owns the production for stators and rotors and can therefore guarantee exact match and clearances between the parts, which is resulting in precise flow and longer lifetime of wearing parts. NEMO pump is also produced in API 676 design for oil and gas industry.
