Robust centrifugal pump

A System One Centrifugal Pump is a very simple and robust centrifugal pump. Made up of 4 designs, the System One series pumps are all consisting of a rotating element, called the impeller, and a casing.

As with all centrifugal pumps, liquid is led to the centre of the impeller and is set into rotation by the impeller vanes. Centrifugal force throws the liquid from the rim of the impeller with a considerable velocity and pressure.

Closely surrounding the impeller, you have the casing, which has a volute shaped passage of increasing area, which collects the liquid leaving the impeller. The casing further leads the liquid into the discharge piping.

Designed specifically to operate in severe process industry, System One Centrifugal Pumps have oversized bearings that offer greater load capacity and extended bearing life.

The System One pumps increase productivity and gives you a reliable solution for the toughest of applications, such as mining, chemical process and water/wastewater treatment. Especially the Frame A centrifugal pump is a pioneering process pump built to get the most from seal and bearing life. If you want a low maintenance pump with long lifetime and maximum value, the Frame A is a very good choice.

The Frame A pump is designed around the seal, where 90% of pump failures occur. This heavy-duty centrifugal pump has a stiffer shaft and larger bearings resulting in a wider operational window than with any other standard process pump.

Frame A comes in 11 different sizes, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The optional LD17 configuration makes Frame A a very robust centrifugal pump, suitable for severe duty applications.
