Product description

Chesterton ARC BX5 (E) is a solid epoxy coating that gives you the ability to quickly repair equipment that is subject to wear. This coating's unique surface tolerant, quick hardening chemistry allows you to use the product without extensive pre-preparation of surface and equipment. It is a fast curing epoxy coating that will give you short downtime.

This is because of the product's quick hardening chemistry and the possibility of easy and quick application with the filler paddle. The Chesterton ARC BX5 (E) has a high volumetric amount of ceramics reinforcement, which means that our fast curing epoxy coating gives you more protection against wear. It binds to damp and less well-groomed surfaces.

You get a quick hardening epoxy coating that has 100% solids, no free isocyanates. It is safer with a fast curing epoxy coating without volatile particles that this product gives you. It is durable and can handle moderate blows and bumps.

The fast curing epoxy coating resists a wide range of chemicals and is resistant to cracking and delamination. The product can be used in a wide range of applications and is particularly used on, for example, pneumatic conveyors, chippers and chip containers, hydro pulps, turbo separators, ash separators, transport fans, screw conveyors, etc. ARC BX5 (E) must be applied at a thickness of at least 3 mm.

Minimum application temperature is 10 ° C (50 ° F). In some applications requiring additional support, it may be advantageous to weld on expanded metal mesh before using ARC BX5 (E). Using the enclosed plastic tools, the material can be pressed into the surface profile. Completely wet out the surface for proper adhesion.

Once the material is placed, it can be smoothed out by a variety of methods. ARC BX5 (E) can be painted, if necessary, using a rotary grinding tool or polycrystalline diamond machined tool.
